Agility

Today I got to do agility with our trainers 4 dogs. Shes also going to be helping me agility train my dogs. I was also offered a chance to compete with her dogs if I wanted to, so I can see how competing is and if I would one day like to compete myself with my own dogs.

It was quite fun. I did the course once with each dog. I will be taking up agility with my own dogs soon hopefully. Just need to build a course.

Brownie's Puppies

Thursday night Brownie had her puppies. All went well. 7 puppies in total, 4 females and 3 males. 1 black(male), 2 yellow(male and female), and 4 chocolate(1 male and 3 females).

Well Brownie is indeed having puppies. We are not sure if she is staying or not as it all depends on how she and Gizmo(our dog with fear aggression) get along. They met today for the first time and there was a lot of barking from Gizmo. A few more meetings will be done and then a decision will be made.

Brownie update

Brownie's owner called. 

They called saying that they didn't want the dog anymore so turned her loose. My mom was pretty much yelling at them for being so stupid. 

Oh then we also found out that she may be having puppies as right before she was set loose she was bred. Stupid people. 


Which means we'll have to have our vet check. When we took her in last weekend our vet just gave her a regular checkup and blood work nothing along the lines of checking for pups.

Rex has gone home

Rex's owner picked him up on Thursday. So hes now back at home. She will be keeping in touch with us.

Meet Lacy, Rex, and Brownie

Lacy is not our dog, but she belongs to a family friend of ours. Shes a 12 week old Chihuahua, and shares the house with Bella a Rat Terrier, Rufus a Chihuahua, Cosmo(female) cat, and Skiddles(male) cat. Lacy came over for a visit last week. Shes a sweetie but likes biting, as shes teething.

Rex is a 8-10 year old Siberian Husky. We found him loose so we took him in and are now in the process of finding his owner.

Brownie is a 4-7 year old Chocolate Lab. We also found her loose in our area and are working on finding her owner as well.
