Happy Thanksgiving

Hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving. The pets all enjoyed bits of turkey and chicken as a Thanksgiving treat. No bones for them just plain turkey and chicken don't want anyone choking. We had family both human and furry come for a visit this year so it was a crowded house hold.

Our furry visitors included one of my uncles 3 Chihuahuas, Jasmine, Jinx, and Jen all siblings.

Then my cousins dogs Jack Russel mix Trixie, Boston Terrier Dixie, Rat Terrier Pixie, and Toy Fox Terrier mix Mixie.

My aunts dogs Boston Terrier Trixie, Lab Poodle mixes Koda and Ashley(siblings adopted from the shelters),  Beagle Pointer mix Gena, and Cavalier Poodle mix Mimi(also adopted from the shelter).

One of our furry visitors today was Fudge, Ebony and Annie's sister and Brownie's daughter(decision between the remaining two will be made this weekend). The four of them were very happy to see eachother. Fudge remembered us and the house from how she acted. She and my grandparents other dog Chance a Lab Border Collie mix were here also.

12 weeks old and decision time

On Thursday Brownie's puppies turned 12 weeks old and today the decision was made on which one was staying. Brownie has been a wonderful mom and in a couple of weeks gets spayed. We will miss the puppies but  we will be seeing them often as all of them are going to friends and family.

The puppies were tested around dogs, strangers, other animals, public places such as stores, schools, movie theaters, buses, trains, etc....., loud noises, and other distractions, unfamiliar objects, water, and many other tests. In the end it came down to 2 puppies who had the most confidence around everything, if they were unsure they didn't try to back away, and pretty much every other quality you would want in a PSD.

The puppies going to family and friends were chosen by their new families today and taken home.

Meet

Fudge(female) who now has a home with my grandparents(moms parents) and their Lab Border Collie mix Chance.

Striker(male) who now has a home with my neighbor/friend who lives behind me and their yellow Lab Loki and black Lab mix Cassie. 

Cricket(female) who now has a home with one of my cousins and her husband.

Snickers(female) who now has a home with one of my aunts and cousin(her son).

Bart(male) who now has a home with one of my friends and her yellow Lab Homer, guinea pig BJ, and cats Snip and Snickers. 

These are the last 2 puppies remaining with us as these 2 puppies pretty much showed equal results. One of the puppies will be going to one of my friends and her chocolate Lab Ginger, and cats Beada and Ashlen. The other will be staying here. My friend said she will take either puppy so now its a just a matter of us choosing which one will stay.

I figured I would post some photos up of my pets and some other photos as well.

First up is Daisy. Shes a 9 month old Chihuahua who belongs to my god sister(her grandparents are the ones who own the racing stable(her moms parents)).

Next up is my neighbors cats. Jazz is an indoor outdoor Siamese cat, and he hangs around the house a lot. Dallas is his companion hes an American Shorthair but you almost never see him outside.

Next is our neighbors German Shorthair Pointer Jack.

Another set of neighbors dogs Ozzie a Rottie mix, Chomper a Chihuahua mix, and Butch a pitbull mix.

Next is Dixie our neighbors Corgi mix.

Next is Loki a Lab(yellow) and Cassie a Lab(black) mix who belongs to my neighbor/friend. 

Next up are my nieces dogs  Lucky(Weimeraner) and Caillou(Toy Poodle).

Next is our relatives dog Lucky who we found as nothing but skin and bones. We were going to keep him ourselves after looking for his owners, but she fell in love with him so we gave him to her.

Next up is my friends Labs Chevy(black who is no longer around he was put down due to cancer) and Ginger(chocolate).

Ash-Russian Blue, Brownie-British Shorthair, Charm-American Shorthair, Snowball-Oriental Shorthair, Moon Bombay, Lucy-Burmese.

Dogs

Knight-German Shepherd, Goldie-Golden Retriever, Ruby-Siberian Husky, Shiloh-Beagle, Cuddles-Pitbull, Jack-Boxer. 

Next is my friends German Shepherd Levi who is Knight and Shadow's brother.
